Code of ethics means agents have to be honest to each other

East Valley Team member Dean Ouellette rants about a recent deal where the buyers agent was not being totally honest.

The code of ethics for real estate agents says we need to be honest to all party in the transaction and that includes one agent to another and the buyers agent to the seller. If your buyer wants out of a deal you need to explain to them the consequences of doing so. If they are staying in the deal only to keep their earnest money then you need to be honest with the selling agent when they ask.
