Government housing programs continue to fail and disappoint
East Valley Team member Dean Ouellette talks about the complete failure that is government housing programs.
The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. So why is it everytime we hear about a new government program to fix the housing market we get excited?
TARP, HAMP, HAFA, they were all failures. Now the news is getting consumers excited about principle reductions and quick answers on short sale approvals. Haven’t we heard all this before?
It is time to have the government butt out. The housing crisis will fix itself over time, your programs will have little effect and will cost more to implement than will be worth it. Instead save our money, pay for some other useless program (because we know you won’t save it) and let the housing market be.
If you are going to work on a program how about you call myself or my broker or someone that has some clue about what is going on in the business and talk to them before you waste millions or billiions more.
