East Valley Team member Dean Ouellette talks about the HAFA program and its success or lack of in the first six months..
The numbers are in on the HAFA short sales program, and they are not pretty. In the first six months of HAFA there have been 342 approved HAFA short sales or deed-in-lieu of foreclosures. 342 total, that is an average of seven approved HAFA short sales per state each month.
HAFA was called by the likes of NAR, RE/MAX and CDPE a “game changer” and it has been anything but close to that. The only one it has been a game changer for is those teaching classes on how to get your HAFA approved.
