Bill Risser at Chicago Title should be on your list for Arizona Title professionals.
When Kristin and I started talking about forming the East Valley Team we tried to decide on certain vendors such as home inspectors, lenders to recommend to get deals closed on time, real estate lawyers and title professionals.
When it came to Title and who to use for escrow it was easy, Bill Risser of Chicago Title is as good as they come in the East Valley. Bill is a big sports fanatic like I am, but that is not why I recommend people talk to him, it is because he is as good as it gets when it comes to customer service, and that is one keys Kristin and I concentrate on.
Just today (Saturday afternoon) I had a deal that needed to be closed, and the deal was not with Chicago Title, it was with an out of state title company which we did not choose. They sent us the documents and told us to get a mobile notary for about $200 to sign. Bill said that is foolish, I will do it for you. Did Bill have to do that, of course not. I am sure after his round of golf today he could have easily just decided to go home and relax with his family.
Bill does a better job explaining the HUD-1 than anyone I have seen. Bill is a true professional and if you are looking for an escrow company in the East Valley I suggest you get a hold of Bill at CT-Gilbert.com or on Twitter at @billrisser. Thanks for helping make this the best darn team in the Valley Bill.
