Why is home showing as active when it has an offer?
Today Kristin LaVanway and Dean Ouellette talk about why when you are searching East Valley homes for sale on another site like Zillow or Realtor.com you may get a listing that says it is active when it already has an offer on it.
This is a problem with the way 3rd party websites work with the MLS system. Often times those active listings, especially short sales, will really have an offer on it, but that will not show on the 3rd party sites. The best way to get true active listings is to work with an East Valley real estate agent who can give you access to active listings.
